Sooo little Charlotte over here went shopping and yes everything is black or if we’re being technical black and grey which I mean is okay right? It’s winter. I’d like to say I needed these pieces but that would be a complete lie, my wardrobe is about to explode…oops!

Something that may or may not have caught your attention is these amazingly beautiful Nike Air Force 1 trainers which I have been looking for since before christmas. I’m not joking when I say this, I was looking online every day to find them in my size. That makes me sound like a crazy obsessive girl but honestly these have been in my wish list for a long time. I am a trainer girl and believe it or not do not own a black pair which is why these are needed. I’ve worn them once so far and I’m in LOVE. Well worth the wait!

Being a girl who is always cold and as I am writing this is sat here with a piglet hot water bottle, I’m always on the hunt for layering pieces. I always look for layering pieces which I can transition into different seasons as I like to be able to wear the majority of my clothes most of the year. The grey top is a textured long sleeve top from Zara which is slightly oversized (buy here) and the black thin jumper is kinda edgy I guess, its got curled hems which are a bit rustic and is from H&M. Both I am sure will be featured on my Instagram as well as on my blog in the near future, keep you’re eyes peeled.

My last little purchase, for the moment anyways, is this beaut black scarf from H&M which is so soft and cosy. I have wanted a plain scarf for a while as the two I already own both contain patterns. This is exactly what I was looking for as it will go with everything and the best part is that it only cost me £4. Im a happy chappy thats for sure.

Keep a look out for more posts to come this month

Intern Style Diaries – Casual Knit

   Dress – Urban Outfitters | Jumper – Zara | Trainers – Adidas Superstars | Necklaces – Topshop

One thing I love to do is to layer and adding a simple jumper over a simple dress really adds something to an outfit. Thin knit jumpers are great for the colder summer days

Intern Style Diaries – Clean Cut

Dress – Motel Rocks | Jacket – Dorothy Perkins | Trainers – Nike Air Force 1’s

This dress is a staple in my wardrobe and has been for a few years now! It’s a simple dress which can be transitioned into all seasons. To keep it clean cut, I’ve added this sleeveless jacket with a trench feel and a pair of Nike’s to keep the outfit casj. Adding a pair of heeled boots would give a dressed up look.

Intern Style Diaries – Sheep Gilet

   Top – New Look | Jacket/Gilet – Topshop | Jeans – Topahop | Shoes – Adidas Superstars
I love the textures involved in this outfit. The sheep style fur gilet is perfect for layering at this time of year as it keeps you warm but also cool with the open arms. The knit top layered underneath is one of my favourite pieces at the moment as again it keeps to warm but also cool!

Intern Style Diaries – Pink Leather

 Top – H&M (old) | Jeans – Topshop | Jacket – Zara (old) | Shoes – Nike Roshe Runs

Monday mornings are always the most difficult to chose an outfit for. I went for a simple all black outfit with a hint of colour with this beaut pink leather jacket which I never wear because warm weather and a tight leather jacket so not work in the slightest.

This is one of those go to outfits which aren’t your favourite but you wear because it will do

Intern Style Diaries – Winter Vibes

Top – Topshop | Jacket – Primark | Skirt – Topshop | Boots – Zara | Necklaces – Topshop | Belt – ASOS

This weekend has brought us only winter vibes as far as clothing choice goes. I went to visit my cousins beautiful baby girl called Nola, you may have already seen a photo of her on my Instagram.

Im not usually one for wearing skirts during the day, I’m not sure why as i always get my legs out on nights out. I always forget how versatile this skirt is and teamed it with a simple grey tee from Topshop and added a belt to nip in the waist. As it was a little chilly, i added a pair of tights and this light weight bomber style jacket which also added a bit of colour to the look.

To complete the look i layered a couple of dainty necklaces and added these cut out boots from zara which i never wear and are quite tight on my feet but they made my legs look good so I’m not going to complain!

Dreamy Jeans

Jeans – Topshop | Top – Missguided | Bag – Miss Selfridge | Boots – Office (old)

The weather may be being typical un decisive english weather but at least dreamy white jeans can brighten up your day, right?

When i was younger, i used to be so against white jeans. Mainly because they were ‘chavy’ at one point but trends change i suppose. I mean trainers used to be only a PE thing but now its an everyday thing.  It’s like these jeans have been sent from heaven, they fit me so well that i just want to wear them all the time. Like if i want to feel good, this is the item i’ll wear. Happy happy that its summer and acceptable to wear them again.

I paired the jeans with this black fishnet crop top which is more of a night out piece but throw on a kimono and no one will know. Only downside to this top is, you either have to go braless or buy a really good stick on bra. Never thought id see the day id own anything fishnet again. Don’t know if any of you had these but i used to have these neon pink fishnet arm warmer things which were probably from claires. Lets just say I’m never going near neon pink fishnet again.

To finish the look off, I’ve added a pair of black boots which I’ve had for years and this black clutch. A bright clutch would work better as it would give the outfit a pop of colour but i own no colour. Note to self – Buy more colour!

In A Barbie World

DSC_0155DSC_0151DSC_0182DSC_0207DSC_0192DSC_0194

Top – Primark | Skirt – Topshop | Boots – Topshop

We all want to be a barbie girl in a barbie world right? Back in the day, i was a huge Barbie fan and when i saw this t shirt in primark i couldn’t really say no. I actually bought it to wear in bed, i do love an oversized t shirt to sleep in. I probably would wear it out of the house if i had the right occasion but for now its staying in my pyjama draw.

This tee is actually a size 16 or possibly an 18, i don’t know. But i actually really like the way it sits on the body. On a whim, i tried it on with this quilted leather effect skirt and actually thought it looked quite cool. Its girly and fun but a bit sexy at the same time. To finish off the look, i added my trusty heeled boots. If i was cool enough, i’d probably wear my nike air force 1’s but i just don’t think I’m at the coolness level just yet. Maybe one day.
