Intern Style Diaries – Winter Vibes

Top – Topshop | Jacket – Primark | Skirt – Topshop | Boots – Zara | Necklaces – Topshop | Belt – ASOS

This weekend has brought us only winter vibes as far as clothing choice goes. I went to visit my cousins beautiful baby girl called Nola, you may have already seen a photo of her on my Instagram.

Im not usually one for wearing skirts during the day, I’m not sure why as i always get my legs out on nights out. I always forget how versatile this skirt is and teamed it with a simple grey tee from Topshop and added a belt to nip in the waist. As it was a little chilly, i added a pair of tights and this light weight bomber style jacket which also added a bit of colour to the look.

To complete the look i layered a couple of dainty necklaces and added these cut out boots from zara which i never wear and are quite tight on my feet but they made my legs look good so I’m not going to complain!

Clinique 3 Step System – Anti – Blemish Solutions

For years I’ve had troubled skin, tried every possible drugstore product under the sun and nothing has made any difference. I decided to bite the bullet and try out some high end skin care. After hearing a lot about the Clinique 3 Step System, i decided to buy the Anti-Blemish solutions set which contains each of the 3 products above in mini form which is prefect for trying out a skin care brand. The set was £25 which is pricey but it does last you around 4 weeks, longer if you use it wisely which i personal thought was ideal.

I absolutely fell in love with Clinique skin care after using it for a few weeks. My skin feels so much softer and nicer as well as looking a hell of a lot less spotty. I mean it doesn’t get rid of them completely but i would never expect a product to do so. Having clearer skin has given me so much more confidence in wearing less make up and wearing no make up in front of people – Something that i used to feel very conscious of. Mainly because everyone i know seems to have the beautifully clear skin which really doesn’t help the confidence levels. Believe me, I have been through many years of bad skin and trying all i can to cover it up. Obviously there is more to getting better skin than just skin care but its a step in the right direction. Drinking more water and eating less chocolate has definitely helped. You  may have certain foods that break you out and if you can i would recommend trying to cut it out because it will make a huge difference in the long run.

As you can see from the photos, I have bought the full size of each product in the 3 Step System. Firstly there is a Cleansing foam which i tend you use every other day  but should really use everyday but I’m lazy. It doesn’t feel like its doing much when you use it but it really tightens up your skin and makes your face feel clean and fresh.

Secondly, there is a Clarifying Lotion which you put onto a cotton wool pad and just wipe across your face. I use this every morning and evening and it just gets rid of all the extra dirt on your face which you might of missed whilst taking your make up off or washing your face. It does have an alcohol smell to it which does make your eyes water if you put to much on which could be taken as a bad thing but it doesn’t bother me.

Lastly, there is an All Over Clearing Treatment which out of all the products has worked the most magic. Ive put it on before bed some nights and noticed spots look incredibly reduced by the morning. Out of all the products, i would say this one if definitely the one to buy if you wanted to try any of the products out but obviously they work better together which does show once you’ve used them for a while.

Clinique 3 Step System Anti-Blemish System set £25

Anti-Blemish Solutions Cleansing Foam £17

Anti-Blemish Solutions Clarifying Lotion £18

Anti-Blemish Solutions – All Over Clearing Treatment £19

Overall, I think Clinique skin care is definitely worth trying if you’ve never ventured down that road. Im excited to try out some of their other products and see how they work for me.

What do you think about Clinique? Are you interested in trying it?

Intern Style Diaries – LC:M

Jumper – borrowed from work | Dress – Urban Outfitters | Trainers – Adidas Superstars

I’m almost an outfit repeater with this one and it slightly kills me BUT I have a good reason, I think. Today was the day of the universal works fashion presentation which I was apart of – well when I say apart of, I mean I was just there helping! They are a menswear brand and aren’t really my style what so ever so I had to work with my wardrobe and the only item which was plain and simple was this dress. To fit in with their look, i borrowed this simple jumper from work to spice my outfit up a bit and make it look a little bit more Normcore.

Intern Style Diaries – A Hint Of Fluff

Top – Primark | Jeans – Topshop | Shoes – Converse |Bag – River Island (old) | Necklaces – Topshop | Watch – Casio

Had the biggest mare this morning when I chose to wear these jeans. I couldn’t honk for the life of me what I’ve previously worn wth these jeans. Had a slight panick and ended up going safe with a simple speckled grey t shirt which works perfectly with the style of jeans and black converse. To add a little colour as well as some femininity, I brought out my fluffy clutch which isn’t really for summer weather but who cares it looks pretty and that’s all that matters!

Intern Style Diaries – Comfy Chic

    Jumper – Topshop (old) | Jeans – Topshop | Socks – Topshop (old) | Shoes – Nike Air Force 1’s | Bag – eBay | Watch – Casio

This is a super effortless outfit that still looks cute – well I think it’s cute. This jumper is literally a life saver, mainly cause it has this frilly bit at the bottom which makes a simple grey jumper look a lot girlier and I of course teamed the look with a pair of trainers. These actually really need a clean, they’re looking a little lifeless (sad face)

Intern Style Diaries – Floral Fix

    Top – Newlook | Jeans – Topshop | Kimono – Newlook (old) | Shoes – Adidas Superstars

I recently bought this knit vest which is great for this time of year as it keeps you warm but cool at the same time with the splits up the sides. I’ve teamed it with a pair of blue ripped jeans but equally would look good with black jeans. To tie it all together, I added this beaut floral kimono which needed an outing. I’ve been neglecting the floral pieces in my wardrobe.

Of course added a pair of trainers to finish the look off. These are my new faves, warning – these trainers will be shown in a lot of outfit posts, I’m literally obsessed with them

Intern Style Diaries – Train Attire

  Top – Topshop | Leggings – Topshop | Shoes – Adidas Superstars | Leather Jacket – Topshop

Inbetween starting my internship, I had my summer ball (post to come) and did far too much train travel in the space of 3 days! Any who this was my ‘I’m so hungover and have to be on a train for 3/4 hours’ outfit!

You can’t see in the photo but these leggings have cool biker detailing on the knees which adds an interesting touch to a pair of thick basic leggings. The outfit is pretty basic but it’s got to be done when you’re hungover right?

Top – Topshop (old) | Jeans – Topshop | Jacket – Forever 21 | Bag – eBay | Shoes – Adidas Superstars

This jacket is a perfect mix between a duster coat and a kimono which makes it perfect for this time of year as its still a little chilly. My Adidas Superstars are the feature of this outfit as this was their first outing and I’m i love with them. Ive become a huge trainer girl recently and i want so many more pairs. Trainers are great for spring/ almost summer weather as they keep your feet coolish.

Recently, I began an internship at a PR company in London and haven’t had the time to work on good quality images for my blog. SO i thought i would create this new ‘Intern Style Diaries’ series i suppose you could call it. They will just be photos taken on my phone but showing details of the outfit. It’s going to be a daily thing, However i do need to catch up on a few so you may see a few outfits a day for the next few days. This will give you an insight to my day to day outfit choices. I must admit some aren’t as great at others but we can’t be dressed to impress every day right?

Let me know if you like this idea and what outfits you like as i go along.
