Intern Style Diaries – Sheep Gilet

   Top – New Look | Jacket/Gilet – Topshop | Jeans – Topahop | Shoes – Adidas Superstars
I love the textures involved in this outfit. The sheep style fur gilet is perfect for layering at this time of year as it keeps you warm but also cool with the open arms. The knit top layered underneath is one of my favourite pieces at the moment as again it keeps to warm but also cool!

Intern Style Diaries – Textured layers

Top – Topshop | Jeans – Topshop | Jacket – Boohop | Shoes – Nike Air Force 1

This outfit had a very sporty vibe with the jacket and trainers. To change it up a bit and give a more girly dressed up look, change the trainers for boots

Intern Style Diaries – Pink Leather

 Top – H&M (old) | Jeans – Topshop | Jacket – Zara (old) | Shoes – Nike Roshe Runs

Monday mornings are always the most difficult to chose an outfit for. I went for a simple all black outfit with a hint of colour with this beaut pink leather jacket which I never wear because warm weather and a tight leather jacket so not work in the slightest.

This is one of those go to outfits which aren’t your favourite but you wear because it will do

Being Happy

vhg

Im sure you don’t need me to tell you how to be happy as we all know what it is in life that makes us happy.

I believe that the key to life is in fact happiness and to do whatever makes you happy.

Throughout life you will meet people who tell you not to do things because you’ll regret it, it’ll be a waste of money, he’s not worth it but at the end of the day we chose to do things for a reason and if that thing makes you happy or feel good, you’re hardly going to say no or stop. In a way you kind of have to act selfish with your happiness but obviously to an extend. If going out and spending your money on a new pair of shoes every week makes you happy, do it. If you have met the man of your dreams and you want to spend time with him, do it. If you just love to lay in bed all day watching movies, do it.

You do only have one life so why not spend it they way you want to and make your own choices through life.

We’ve all done things in life which perhaps we shouldn’t have done but those things make you happy at that moment in time and i truly believe you should do what makes you happy which will contain mistakes at times but mistakes are meant to be made.

You have to live in the moment and not think about what the future holds, other wise you’ll stop yourself from doing things you’ll forever wish you did. We all do it, we all worry about the future and what will happen in all aspects of life but live in the now and be happy for now.

Me? I am very content with my life at the moment. I’m trying hard to work on my blog which i enjoy so much. I’m pushing myself to do an internship in london over the summer to gain experience for the future – effectively loosing my final summer but these things have to be done. If i didn’t have the drive to want to get a job after i finish university, i wouldn’t be doing an internship at all. Because uni always put me down when it comes to my work, I’m determined to get experience that will help me with my journey to getting a job after uni. But all in all, I’m a very happy person and try to see the good things in everything and not dwell on the bad things that happen.

How about you? What makes you happy?

Intern Style Diaries – Sporty Chic

Top – New Look | Jeans – Topshop | Jacket – Boohoo | Shoes – Nike Air Force 1 | Necklace – Topsho

This outfit is very similar to the last one but I tried to change it up with a longer top and different choice of footwear. This outfit is very sporty chic and full of different textures which gives the outfit more interest.

This bomber jacket could be soon a lot through my Intern Style Diaries, I’m a little bit in love

Intern Style Diaries – Trouser Love

 Jumper & Trousers – Topshop | Shoes – eBay

I love wearing these trousers, I always get compliments on them and better yet, they feel like you’re wearing pyjamas so I can’t complain at all.

I paired them with a simple cream jumper which I tucked in slightly to make the outfit look more put together.

To finish the look, I added these white chunky sandals which were a bargain from eBay and look just as nice as similar shells you can get from high street stores!

Intern Style Diaries – Pink Bomber

Top – Primark | Jacket – Boohoo | Jeans – Topshop | Boots – Topshop

Yesterday I brought out my white ripped jeans which very rarely get worn as my white Joni jeans just fit like a dream!
I tried to tone it down a bit with the black thin knit top from Primark and this casual bomber jacket I recently bought and love. I love it because it’s slightly different to the bombers that everyone has these days. Also I love pink so it’s a win win.
I did actually change into trainers after I took these photos as I just couldn’t face wearing boots all day around London just yet!

Intern Style Diaries – Casual Stripes

Jumper – H&M | Jeans – Topshop | Watch – Olivia Burton | Trainers – Nike Air Force 1 | Bag – Zara

Today was one of those days where I wasn’t really feeling any of my clothes and the thing I wanted to wear was in the wash so I went for the simplest outfit possible. I’m not overly keen on it but it was comfy so not complaining!

These jeans are quickly becoming a pair of my faves but I’m still in sure as to what to wear with them. I tend to just wear white as I know it goes but definitely need to branch out with colours.

Obviously topped the look off with a pair of trainers – I’m trying my best to get out of the trainer habit but I’m struggling!

Intern Style Diaries – Skandi Grid Kimono

    Top – Topshop | Kimono – Topshop (old) | Boots – Topshop (old) | Jeans – Topshop | Bag – Zara

I looked at the weather this morning thinking it was going to be a warm sunny turns out it’s not quite what I expected. Luckily I always come prepared with extra layers. I based my outfit around this kimono which has been sat in my wardrobe for so long. I wanted to add a splash of colour, so I paired the kimono with this light blue cami from Topshop which I definitely need to buy in other colours. I also bought this new bag recently which went perfectly with the outfit. Was feeling very summery in a plain and black and white kinda way.
