Intern Round Up

Over the last 2 months i have been under going an Internship at Cube PR, it has now come to an end and i thought i would share my experience with you beauts.

If you study fashion or work in it, you’ll know the fashion industry isn’t the easiest thing to get into. It involes a lot of determination, time and internships to get even just a job in something fashion. In order for me to even attempt to get a job at a company of choice, fashion experience is key. More so to show that you know how to react to a working environment than anything else. Interning is just apart of it and you have to be prepared to work for free for months before a job comes about.

I learnt a huge amount at Cube PR from sample management to writing a press release. Experience that i hope to take to many of the future jobs i hope to get.

Working in PR is defiantly something I’m considering as a potential job after uni but the one passion of mine, which I’ve had for a long time, is styling. My next step to gaining experience is hopefully helping out a stylist. Mainly to see if i like styling but also because its something i have always wanted to do.

If you have any questions about my internship, feel free to comment or email and ill be happy to help you all out

Intern Style Diaries – On Thursdays The Cube Team Wear Black

   Top & Skirt – ASOS | Trainers – Nike | Jacket – Boohoo | Bag – H&M

This day was the day of the Serge De Nimes AW15 launch party and we as the cube team were asked to all wear black. Luckily my wardrobe is full of black clothing so it wasn’t too difficult. I kept it casua but smart with this black cami and denim a line skirt

Intern Style Diaries – Silky Shorts

     Top – ASOS | Shorts – Zara (old) | Sandals – Primark

This outfit is prefect for summer but maybe not so much for work. Definitely more of a holiday outfit but hey ho I went with it anyways. I’ve neglected these shorts for so long but saw a girl wear them on Instagram and instantly had to wear them!

Intern Style Diaries – Denim Mini

     Top & Skirt – ASOS | Trainers – Nike Air Force 1
Me being that one person not into the button front skirt trend, I searched for an alternative that gave a similar look. I found this denim skirt on ASOS for £20 and it gives the exact same look except it doesn’t have the ugly buttons down the front!

As a girl at work said, it’s very modern day clueless with the little a line skirt and the cute little cropped strip top

Who knew I would fall in love with stripes so much this summer? Not me! I love this top, it’s such a staple for my wardrobe and will deffo get more wear out of it in the winter months! It’s a great evening cover up piece as its light but will still keep you warm in the evening!
